General Notice

The City of Wilson (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:

THE CAMPUS AT 587 WATER MAIN EXTENSIONS 

Bids for the construction of the Project will be received by the City of Wilson at the Operations Center EOC Conference Room located at 1800 Herring Avenue, Wilson, North Carolina, until Thursday, August 28, 2025, at 2:00 P.M., local time.  At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.

The Project includes but is not limited to the following Work:

  • 13,590 LF 16” Dia. C-900 PVC & DIP Water Main
  • 4,075 LF 12” Dia. C-900 PVC & DIP Water Main
  • 1,460 LF 16” Dia. (I.D.) HDPE DR9 Directional Bore
  •     210 LF 12” Dia. (I.D.) HDPE DR9 Directional Bore
  • 1,460 LF 8” Dia. (I.D.) HDPE DR9 Directional Bore (Gas Main)
  • 100 LF 30” Dia. Steel Casing (Bore & Jack) w/16” Carrier Pipe
  • 240 LF 24” Dia. Steel Casing (Bore & Jack) w/12” Carrier Pipe
  •     8 EA Fire Hydrant Assembly
  •  16 EA 16” Butterfly Valve w/Box
  • 10 EA 12” Gate Valve w/Box
  •      8 EA 6” Gate Valve w/Box

The Project has an expected duration of 250 days.

Pre-bid Conference

A pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on Thursday, August 14, 2025, at 2:00 P.M., at the Operations Center Cafeteria Room A located at 1800 Herring Avenue, Wilson, North Carolina.  Attendance at the pre-bid conference is encouraged but not required. Questions will be received until Monday, August 11, 2025 at 5:00 P.M..

Printed copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office upon receipt of a non-refundable payment of $150.00 for each set.  Make checks for Bidding Documents payable to Green Engineering, P.L.L.C.
