Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the Columbus County at the Commissions Chambers, 3^rd Floor located at 127 W. Webster Street, Whiteville, North Carolina until   March 5, 2026, at  2:00 P.M. local time.  At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.

The Project includes but is not limited to the following Work:

• 16,600 LF 6” Dia. PVC Water Main
• 540 LF 6” Dia. PVC Water Main
• 510 LF 6” Dia. I.D. Directional Bore
• 130 LF 12” Dia Steel Casing
• 49 EA 6” Dia. Gate Valve with Box
• 3 EA 2” Dia. Gate Valve with Box
• 144 EA 5/8” x ¾” Water Service Reconnect Including

the Replacement of Existing Meters w/AMI Capable Meters

• 17 EA Fire Hydrants

The Project has an expected duration of _270___ days.

Pre-bid Conference

A pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on   February 19, 2026 at  2:00 P.M. at Columbus County Commissioners Chambers, 3^rd Floor, located at 127 W. Webster Street, Whiteville, North Carolina.  Attendance at the pre-bid conference is encouraged but not required.

Prospective Bidders may obtain or examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.

Printed copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office upon receipt of a non-refundable payment of $100.00 for each set.  Make checks for Bidding Documents payable to Green Engineering, P.L.L.C.
