Project Description:

The Project includes but is not limited to the following Work:

  • LF 12′ Dia. DI Sewer (0-6) w/Stone Bedding (401 Lined)
  • LF 12′ Dia. DI Sewer (6-8) w/Stone Bedding (401 Lined)
  • LF 12′ Dia. DI Sewer (8-10) w/Stone Bedding (401 Lined)
  • LF 24″ Steel Casing w/12″ Dia. DI Carrier Pipe (401 Lined) Direct Bury including 2 Anti-Flotation Collars
  • EA Modify Outlet Invert SSMH #2 as required for installation of new 12″ DIP to SSMH #4
  • EA Modify Inlet Invert SSMH #4 as required for installation of new 12″ DIP to SSMH #2
  • LS Removal of ±160 LF Existing 12″ Sewer Pipe and Ex. SSMH #3; Offsite Disposal

The Project has an expected duration of 60 days.

Pre-bid Conference

A pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at 2:00 P.M., at the Operations Center Cafeteria Room A located at 1800 Herring Avenue, Wilson, North Carolina.  Attendance at the pre-bid conference is encouraged but not required. Questions will be received until Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at 5:00 P.M..

Bid Opening Date: Wednesday, February 25th, 2026 - 2:00 pm
Bid Opening Location:

Bids for the construction of the Project will be received by the City of Wilson at the Operations Center EOC Conference Room located at 1800 Herring Avenue, Wilson, North Carolina, until Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at 2:00 P.M., local time.  At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.

Refund Policy:

Prospective Bidders may obtain or examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.

Printed copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office upon receipt of a non-refundable payment of $150.00 for each set.  Make checks for Bidding Documents payable to Green Engineering, P.L.L.C.
